Will this work on a Shopify development store? +
Yes. Dev stores install Evident the same way as live stores. Use a dev store to evaluate the full install + sync flow before pointing your production store at us.
What scopes does Evident request? +
Five scopes, all minimal: read_products (catalog sync), read_customers (verified purchase matching), read_orders (review request triggers), read_content (FAQ targeting on blogs + pages), write_script_tags (widget injection). We also request Protected Customer Data access for name + email only — the fields review-request emails actually use.
Are you in the Shopify App Store? +
Custom OAuth install is live and works on every Shopify store today. App Store listing is in progress. Either path uses the same install flow; the App Store will just shorten the first step.
How does Evident compare to Yotpo or Stamped? +

Will my Google Shopping product ratings still work? +
Yes — review aggregates emit standard Product schema (schema.org Review + AggregateRating) on your product pages. Google picks them up the same way it does for any review platform.
Does the widget hurt my Lighthouse score? +
It is built not to. Every widget runs from one script of about 27 KB compressed, loaded with defer, so your page renders before any widget mounts. We have not published a Lighthouse benchmark, so we would rather you measure it on your own store.
What happens if I uninstall? +
Your storefront script tag is automatically removed and webhook subscriptions are cancelled. Your reviews stay in Evident — you can export them anytime, even after cancellation.
