Create a headless store
Connect → Headless creates the store. Then add every origin your storefront renders from under Settings → Store.

Grab your API keys
Create an API key under Settings → API Keys for server-to-server calls. Widgets need only your Store Environment ID — there is no separate storefront token.

Push your data, embed widgets
PUT your catalog and orders from your backend. Embed reviews + galleries via the SDK, or render server-side from the API.

Questions Headless merchants ask
Do you have framework-specific SDKs? +
The web SDK works in any framework via a single script tag + data attributes — Next.js, Astro, Remix, Hydrogen, vanilla HTML. See the headless guide for a React/Next wrapper you can copy.
How do I push my catalog? +
PUT /api/v1/products in batches. Each request accepts up to 250 products, keyed on your own platformProductId, so you can safely re-push on every catalog rebuild. Note it replaces rather than merges — send the whole product, since an omitted field is cleared.
Can I rotate API keys? +
Yes — create and revoke keys from Settings → API Keys. Revocation is immediate, so create the replacement key and deploy it before revoking the old one.
How do I get notified of new reviews? +
Subscribe to the review.created outbound webhook. Signed with HMAC-SHA256, idempotent via event ID. We retry on 5xx with exponential backoff. If your endpoint was down, the events endpoint replays review.created, review.approved, order.placed, order.completed, gallery.submitted and gallery.approved, synthesized from the underlying data.
How does review submission work? +
Use our hosted /review/:token form (signed token in the URL, no auth required) or build a fully custom flow with POST /api/v1/reviews. Both paths support photos, video, and 1-5 star ratings.
What's the rate limit? +
10 req/s, 50 req/10s and 200 req/min, applied per IP. Storefront write endpoints are tighter still. Need higher? Let us know — we lift limits for legitimate use cases.
