Yes. Dev stores install Evident the same way as live stores. Use a dev store to evaluate the full install + sync flow before pointing your production store at us.
What scopes does Evident request? +
Five scopes, all minimal: read_products (catalog sync), read_customers (verified purchase matching), read_orders (review request triggers), read_content (FAQ targeting on blogs + pages), write_script_tags (widget injection). We also request Protected Customer Data access for name + email only — the fields review-request emails actually use.
Are you in the Shopify App Store? +
Custom OAuth install is live and works on every Shopify store today. App Store listing is in progress. Either path uses the same install flow; the App Store will just shorten the first step.
