Do I need a BigCommerce Marketplace listing to install? +
No — custom install via API credentials works for any BigCommerce store. App Marketplace listing is in progress and will offer one-click install when available.
What API scopes does Evident need? +
Read-only access to four areas: store_v2_information (store name), store_v2_products (catalog), store_v2_orders (review requests), store_v2_customers (verified purchase matching). No write scopes; we never modify your store data.
Does this work with BigCommerce multi-storefront / Enterprise? +
Yes. Each storefront is its own Evident environment, billed under a single organization. Multi-storefront merchants can manage all stores from one dashboard.
Will the widget slow down my Lighthouse score? +
Negligible impact — our widget is sub-50ms to first render, deferred-loaded, and has no render-blocking JS. Typical Lighthouse delta is under 1 point.
How do I import reviews from my current provider? +
We support direct imports from Yotpo, Stamped, Judge.me, Reviews.io, and generic CSV. Images and videos re-host to our CDN — no broken-link risk if you cancel your old provider. Run as many imports as you want; we never charge extra.
